On St. Croix, DJ Swain taxi is available daily, making it simple to book a ride to and from your accommodation as well as to downtown Christiansted and Frederiksted. You may find taxi stands waiting to transport you anywhere you need to go at any moment on King Street in Christiansted, Strand Street in Frederiksted, and at the airport.

Several taxi services are also available in St. Croix for pre-planning a pick-up or private group transportation. The taxi fares shown here are updated periodically but are subject to change at any time.

Prices are given for 1-2 passengers, with the price for more passengers in parentheses. For instance, the cost for two passengers to go from the airport to The Buccaneer is $20, plus $10 for each additional passenger. Additionally, kindly take note of the additional costs, rates, and unique conditions below.

Taxi Additional Fees That Coul Apply!

The nearest place with a rate crossing to the next place ahead with a rate closest to the passenger's destination should be used to determine the rates to regions not specified in this schedule.

Unless the customer is inebriated and rowdy or in the company of a pet that is not properly restrained in a kennel (apart from a seeing eye or service dog), a taxi driver may not refuse any passenger while on duty.

Service dogs are provided at no cost. Additional charges for the kennels area include: Small Kennel: $20; Large Kennel: $30.

The cost of a round-trip ticket is twice as much as a one-way ticket, plus $1 every minute of waiting time beyond the first five.

Requests for radio or telephone call taxes are charged the fare plus one-third of the base fare.
The Exclusive Cab Rate is payable for 4 people if you want a taxi to yourself.

Each passenger is charged a fixed fee of $2 for each bag. Items bigger than 30" x 29" will cost no more than $4 per bag.

Sedan/Mini Van (1-4 passengers): $40; Van (up to 14 passengers): $55; Safari (up to 25 passengers): $80 per hour.

The taxi driver and passengers will haggle over rates for more people.

There are available tours. The following charges apply to tours that run around three hours: $100 for 1-4 passengers and $20 for 5+.
