DJ Swain is known as one of the most revered leading authority of music in the US Virgin Islands. He has been a deejay for over 20 years. Born and raised in St. Croix, VI, Swain developed a love of music at an early age. He grew up listening to reggae, calypso, and soca, which began his fascination with music. As hip-hop began to integrate into the Caribbean culture, a rap group by the named the Sugar Hill Gang caught his attention. This began his fascination for Hip-Hop and cutting-edge mix CDs.
